A counseling session booked with me is just a fancy way of saying meeting.
We are meeting together to talk about what's going on in your life and set goals to make positive changes.
I will help you with Biblical guidance, tools, resources, and a compassionate and empathetic listening ear. I will listen to truly hear your concerns and meet you where you are in this season of your life. It would be my absolute pleasure to help you set your feet on a path toward positive change. Ultimately, the things you choose to change are up to you, and it is your effort that brings this change-- but I am here to support you, and equip you to help you get to where you want to be.
The first step is to schedule the appointment on my calendly link.
Once you schedule an appointment, I will send you reminders about the date/time/ and place.
Typically, I will also reach out with an introduction and send you some paperwork that I need you to review and sign.
The next step is to show up. Please text me when you arrive so that I know you're here. I will greet you at the door with a smile.
We will meet together for approximately one hour.
We will talk about your goals and create a plan to help you reach them.
We will talk about Jesus. We will pray. We will ask the Holy Spirit to help you in your healing journey. We will reference the Bible. We will seek Him first in all we do.
I am passionate about Mental Health because the hurt, guilt, anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental issues that plague us do not define us and we can grow and develop ways to combat these mental issues. His Word says that We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
So come with your mustard seed and we will work together on your individual path toward finding joy again.
See you soon,
Deb
